Morgan appeared alongside other actors in the documentary film Safe Sex for Men and Women focused on AIDS prevention and awareness. A portion of the profits were given to American Foundation for AIDS Research. Morgan is a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan also led other fundraising initiatives and gave a testimony at a special Congressional panel discussing AIDS awareness. She is a member of the Board of Governors of APLA along with Amfar. C. Everett Koop asked her at times to take his place at AIDS events. And she co-hosted an AIDS Awareness Special with news anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell interviewed Morgan twice on Nightline on AIDS. Morgan won an Emmy award for Diane English's exclusive Murphy Brown episode that was created specifically for Morgan. In spring, she co-starred alongside Joan Rivers in ABC television's Your Money or Your Wife. The summer started with Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The movie was created By Zerneck and Sertner and featured Cindy Williams & Marla Gibbs. The second part of the project brought Morgan to Luxembourg in which she appeared in the roles of Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in the production of Harmony Gold. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also featured. Morgan also starred exclusively in the USA Network's psychological suspense-thriller, which garnered some of the strongest ratings the network has ever recorded.
