Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger Norway. The name she is most commonly used for her professional work is Aurora and sometimes stylized with uppercase letters like AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well reviewed by various music websites. She's recorded a variety of well-known songs as covers, like Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole), which have been widely praised.
